Mischa’s Story
Mischa is a large, affectionate male Doberman with a soft heart and a thoughtful nature. At around 1.5 years old and over 100 lbs, he’s still maturing physically and mentally and is currently thriving in foster care with a professional trainer.
He does best with clear structure, predictable routines, and calm leadership. When expectations are defined, Mischa settles well and shows just how rewarding he is to live with. He is fully house trained, comfortable in his crate, and settles reliably during the day and overnight.
Mischa is highly food motivated and enjoys enrichment that gives him something to work through, especially problem-solving and treat-dispensing activities. Training has focused on impulse control, calm focus, and foundational obedience, and it has helped him feel more grounded and secure.
With his people, Mischa is deeply affectionate and forms strong bonds once trust is established. Like many Dobermans, he can be cautious with new people and benefits from slow, respectful introductions that allow him to build confidence at his own pace.
